So I was a guest on a podcast! Emily Merrell’s podcast, Artifice, focuses on how creativity has shown up through each interviewee’s life. She has had a wide range of artists and more on her podcast and I was thrilled to be considered as someone worth interviewing. I always question what I have to offer when entering new spaces and it felt no different when gearing up for this. Even though the interview was centered around my life, I am always one to downplay what I’ve done. Luckily, Emily was able to make sense of my disorganized mind and make observations I hadn’t considered in my own personal reflections. 

Looking back at the time I was interviewed, I felt myself slipping back into a rut that I was in just a few months prior. Through the interview process, I found myself rediscovering my excitement to create as well as a sense of accomplishment in what I’ve made so far.
