Jesus in Berlin!

Berlin was a transformative and grounding experience that I won’t soon forget. After having taken a year of separation from dance, it was amazing to push so rigorously again and empowering to reinhabit my body in that way. This experience widened my perspective of what I want for myself moving forward and reminded me that I have the ability to create what I want for myself. I connected with so many beautiful people and artists from all over the world and I left feeling inspired to continue sharing and building community back home.

While in Berlin, I attended b12, where I took workshops from Akira Yoshida and Antonin Rioche. I was also apart of Antonin’s performance project, “Jesus in Berlin!” performed at Dock 11. These processes helped expand my awareness and experience my body in new ways. They also informed the way I approach teaching.
